La v2 IBM 3Gb SAS HBA proporciona una solución ideal para todos los servidores y estaciones de trabajo que requieren la transferencia de datos ultra alta velocidad de conectividad de disco para aplicaciones de copia de seguridad y de misión crítica de datos. Este HBA proporciona soporte para SAS y SATA HDDs y configuraciones de unidad de cinta.

Specifications

The IBM 3Gb SAS HBA v2 has the following specifications:

  • One external Mini-SAS x4 connector (SFF-8088)
  • Four internal SATA x1 connectors
  • LSI 1068E SAS controller
  • PCI Express x8 host interface
  • RAID levels : none*


* The 3Gb SAS HBA v2 supports RAID, but only on the System x3455 (RAID levels 0, 1, and 1E are supported). All other supported systems support tape connectivity only. See the announcement letter (link below) for details.


Operating environment

The IBM 3Gb SAS HBA v2 is supported in the following environment:

  • Temperature:
    • At 0 - 1000 m (0 - 3000 ft): 10 - 35° C (50 - 95° F)
    • At 1000 - 2100 m (3000 - 7000 ft): 10 - 32° C (50 - 90° F)
  • Relative humidity: 20 - 80% (non-condensing)



Warranty

The IBM 3Gb SAS HBA v2 has a one-year limited warranty. When installed on a System x server, these cards assume your system’s base warranty and any IBM ServicePac upgrade.
